Terms of service
The short version: Vitafin is a personal money tracker you subscribe to. Your data is yours, the software is ours, and we both behave reasonably. The longer version follows. Last updated 16 September 2026.
1. The service
Vitafin (vitafin.io and app.vitafin.io, and the mobile apps when released) lets you record and understand your personal finances: accounts, cards, loans, investments, budgets, bills and money between you and other people. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a broker, a payment service or financial advice, and nothing it shows should be taken as advice to buy, sell or hold anything.
2. Your account
You sign in with an email address you control. You are responsible for that mailbox and for anything done in Vitafin by people or tools you give access to, including AI assistants you connect. One account is for one person; a partner or group member has their own account.
3. Trial and subscription
- Every new account gets a free trial of 14 days with every feature open. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, continued use requires a subscription: one plan, billed monthly, at a price set for your country and shown at checkout in your local currency.
- Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, under their terms. They handle your card, invoices and refunds.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan. Access continues until the end of the month you have paid for; nothing further is charged.
- If a renewal fails, we keep your access open while the payment is retried for a short period and tell you in the app. If it cannot be collected, the account is paused until it is.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice in the app. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
4. Your data
Everything you enter stays yours. We store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy page. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it. If your account is paused or closed, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back or export it, then delete it.
5. Acceptable use
Use Vitafin for your own records and those you are entitled to keep. Do not try to reach other people's data, overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. Automated access is welcome through the MCP interface with your own credentials; scraping or abusing the API is not.
6. Accuracy
Vitafin shows what you and the tools you connect put into it. Imported bank messages, statements, exchange rates and market prices come from third parties and can be wrong or late. Check anything that matters against your bank. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the numbers in the app.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Vitafin available around the clock, but it can be down for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We improve the product continually and may add, change or retire features. If we ever discontinue the service, we give at least 60 days' notice and keep export working until the end.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Vitafin at any time by cancelling and asking for deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where practical.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If something goes wrong, write to us first; most things can be sorted out by email.
